Acá esta la segunda parte del Volcán Irazú. Desgraciadamente no tuve el tiempo suficiente en Semana Santa para ir a tomar fotos, así que no tengo mucho que publicar.
Lo bueno es que tengo dos rollos sin revelar, así que es solo de escanear y listo para publicarlas por acá.

Here there is the second part of the Irazú Volcano. Unfortunately I didn't had the sufficient time in Holy Week to go to take photos, so I do not have much that to publish.

Estas fotografías son un pequeño experimento con la cámara digital con poca luz... en estas fotos deje el flash de lado. Me gusto como quedo el efecto con la luz.
Estas fotos las tome el pasado domingo en un concierto que ofreció mi amigo Michael en la "Salamandra".
Bueno, allí los dejo y espero publicar la segunda parte del Volcán Irazú en estos días.

Estas fotos fueron producto del viaje que realicé el sábado pasado.
Visité el Volcán Irazú, el cual tiene una larga historia de erupciones, principalmente la ocurrida hace 40 años donde tuvo al país en emergencia nacional, ya que este pasó durante un año expulsando enormes cantidades de ceniza al Valle Central (sector mas poblado del país), el cual afectó la agricultura, la ganadería y la salud de los costarricenses.
Este volcán se encuentra a 3.432 metros sobre el nivel del mar.
Cuando se encuentra despejado, desde el pico más alto se puede observar el Océano Pacifico y el Atlántico a la ves, algo que no tuve suerte ese día como podrán notar en las fotografías la gran cantidad de nubes.
En el mismo están ubicadas gran cantidad de antenas de comunicación, para trasmitir principalmente señales de radio y television.
A pesar de ser un lugar frió, ese día hizo un sol increíble, tanto que hoy estoy sufriendo las consecuencias ya que mis labios fueron bastante afectados por el sol.
Este volcán no es tan imponente como lo es el Volcán Póas, pero tiene de las suyas, ya que se ve muy tranquilo con su laguna que cambia de colores continuamente, pero por dentro esta preparándose para explotar en cualquier momento.

These photos were a product of the trip that I realized last Saturday.
I visited the Irazú Volcano, which has a long history of eruptions, principally the one that happened 40 years ago where it had the country in national emergency, since this one happened for one year expelling enormous quantities of ash to the Central Vale (sector more filled with the country), which affected the agriculture, the cattle and the health of the Costa Ricans.
This volcano is up to 3.432 meters on the level of the sea.
When he is clear, from the highest peak it is possible to observe both the Pacific Ocean and the Atlantic Ocean, something that I was not lucky this day as tyou will be able to notice in the photography the great quantity of clouds.
In spite of being a place very cold, this day did a incredible Sun, so much that today I am suffering the consequences since my lips were affected enough by the sun.
This volcano is not so impressive as it is the Poás Volcano, but it has of theirs, since it turns out to be very calm with his lagoon that changes colors continuously, but within it is preparing itself to exploit in any moment.

Pues bien, vuelvo después de tanto tiempo.
Tengo varias fotos para publicar, pero he pasado demasiado ocupado, si no es porque se me olvida, es porque no tengo tiempo.
Ahora lo que tengo que esperar es la Semana Santa, eso significa que en esa semana puedo ir a tomar muchas fotos que estaré publicando por acá.
Las fotos de hoy son de las tantas que tome en el Sanatorio Duran, y vuelvo a publicar fotos donde sale mi buena amiga Rebeca.
Creo que esta seria la ultima serie de fotografías del Sanatorio, hasta que vuelva a visitar el lugar.
Espero mañana publicar unas fotos que tome en el Volcán Irazú.

Allright, I'm back after this long time.
I have several photos to publish, but this days I'll been too busy. If there's not because I forgot it, it's 'cause I have no time.
Now I have to wait for Holy Week, that means that in this week I can go to take some pictures that I'll be publish in here.
Today's pics are of so many that I took in the Sanatorio Durán, in wich my good friend Rebeca goes out again.
I believe that this would be the last series of photography of the Sanatorio, until I visit the place again.
I hope tomorrow to publish a few photos that I took in the Irazú Volcano.

Nunca he publicado flores y pienso que ya es tiempo de ello.
Estas fotos las tome el 15 de febrero, así que eran las flores que ya estaban golpeadas y que nadie quiso para el día anterior, luego de la celebración del día de San Valentín.
A pesar de todo, siempre se ven bonitas, aunque estén un poco maltratadas.
El girasol es para mi amiga Analu, que espero me perdone por no haberla llevado al volcán.

Volcán Poás

El domingo visité uno de los tantos volcanes que hay en Costa Rica, el Volcán Poás en Alajuela, aproximadamente a 2 horas de viaje desde mi casa.
Este es uno de los cráteres más grandes del mundo, y aunque desde el mirador se ve demasiado cerca, esta aproximadamente a un kilometro de distancia, pero por su gran tamaño aparenta lo contrario.
A la par del volcán, caminando por uno de los senderos se encuentra la laguna Botos, que si no me equivoco es otro cráter hermano del Poás que murió hace ya muchos años.
Luego publicaré mas fotos de este increíble lugar.

Last Sunday I visited one of so many volcanoes that exist in Costa Rica, the Volcano called Poás in Alajuela, approximately at 2 hours of trip from my house.
This one is one of the biggest craters of the world, and though from the viewing-point one sees too much nearby, this one approximately to a kilometre of distance, but for its great size it feigns the opposite.
Next to the volcano, walking by one of the paths you can find the lagoon Botos, which if I am not wrong it is another crater brother of the Poás who died already many years ago.
I will publish morephotos of this incredible place later.
